FRENCH BARQUE AND GERMAN

TRAINING-SHIP

[PP.EBS ASSOCIATION.] (Received June 16, 8.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 16. The Underwriters' Association are advised of the wreck of the French barque Turgot, bound from Hull to Australia, at Cape Verde, and of the German training-ship Herzogin Cecilie, which left Port Augusta for the English Channel on March 17 with a large cargo of wheat. The Herzogin Cecilie is reported to be a total wreck.
