CARRIAGES BADLY DAMAGED.
PASSENGERS HAVE A NARROW

Luckily those who were in their seats when the collision happened although' very much frightened and bacUv bruised, were not in ured senouflv. Mrs Andrews sufferedmost in that respect, and received a bioken rib some cuts on the face and severe bruises. Dr. Bennet was summoned, and Mrs Andrews was removed to the Royal Hotel, while Mrs O'Brien and Mrs Meehan were taken ,to the residences of friends. It is believed that Mrs Andrews will be able to proceed to her home by this afternoon strain. A considerable time was occupied in removing the damaged carriages off the line, but by nine o'clock they had been cleared away.
