A VILLAGE DESTROYED.
TWENTY BODIES UNEARTHED.
(Received June 14, 8.40 a.m.) PARIS, June 13. The seismic wave in France lasted from 9.15 to 9.40 p.m. There were, four shocks. Luckily the earthquake occurred just before bedtime, otherwise there would have been hundreds of yietims. Fifteen persons were killed at Lambese, and the village of Rogues was entirely destroyed. Twenty bodies! have been found in the ruins.
