ATTEMPT TO "CRY OFF" A BARGAIN. [press association.] FEILDING, Juno 11. A case in which W. Clarkson sued A. Porter for £100, part payment of a motor-car, concluded last night. The defence was that the defendant was drunk when he signed the bill,, and was therefore not responsible. After a long hearing the magistrate decided that Porter was not drunk, and gave judgment for the plaintiff.
