THE MINISTERIAL VISIT.

The Minister for Education, the j Hon. G. Fowkls, accompanied by Mrs ■ and Miss Fowlds and Messrs A. McCallum. J. Duncan, M.P., S. Neville, and Messrs Hylton and Strachan, visited Seddon yesterday. The Minister inspected the Seddon school, and authorised the grant for adding another room to that institution. The party was driven, to the Lake Grassmere and Richmond Brook schools, and generally a good tour of inspection was made. Mr Fowlds expressed the opinion that there was a good future in store for the Awatere dis- . trict.
