The Press says that another small steamer which had to put back to port a fteahaving a "tussle" with the northerly gale and sea was the Rob Roy, which left Lyttelton about midnight on Tuesday. She had a rough time outside, and. only got a few miles past Stonyiiurst, when her master decided to run back to Lyttelton, as his stock of bunker coal was running short.
