(Victoria) beat Miss Wellwood (New Zealand) 6-0, 6-4; Miss Powdrell (New. Zealand) beat Miss Travers. (New Zea* land) 6-1, 6-4. In the ladies' doubles Misses Nunn'eley and Powdrell (New Zealand) beat Misses D. and F. Gordon (Newj South Wales) 6-2, 6-2; Misses Payten! and Jones (New South Wales) beat! Misses Ward and Wellwood (New Zea* land) 4-6, 6-4, 6-3. In the singles-handicap Misses Nun^ neley and Powdrell won their games.
