CARTERTON, April 23. AH the rivers' in ,the district are flooded, and most of them are over their hanks. * Hundreds of acres are submerged, but no stock have been lost and very little damage done. _ The water is ,now falling, though it is still raining. Stock in Lower Valley were all mustered, aard are in safety on sand dunes aoad high places.
