An office boy employed by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, New York, met with his death in an extraordinary manner. The day was his fifteenth birthday, and on his arrival at business the girl stenographers at the office, with whom lie was a great favorite, crowded round him to bestow birthday kisses upon him. In attempting to escape' their attentions the youth .stumbled and fell, and an1 ink-eraser which he' had in his pocket entered his body and killed him.
