TO CORRESPONDENTS.

We are constantly receiving letters from unknown correspondents, who desire publication of their views under a norn de plume without disclosing their identity to the Editor. The necessity for the observance of this salutary rule has been so frequently expressed that it is surprising to find people still in ignorance of it. The latest letters to find their way to the waste paper basket for neglect of this requirement are those from "A Visitor/ 3 and "A Worker." If the writer of the latter choses to furnish his name, his letter will be rescued, and published. As for the other, we would not publish it under a norn de plume in any case, as we decline to be made the medium for anonymous attacks upon public officials.
