•**■* \\V\ I" f'UUs*?* s*? i OVER TWELVE MONTHS IN BED. Miss Urwin, 56 Hopper Street, Wellington, relates her wonderful story:—'' About the 16th of July, 1902, I was taken ill with Rheumatic Fever. In four weeks Dr. ordered my removal to the Hospital. The swelling of my limbs was causing great anxiety, especially my leg, where a large abscess had formed at the knee. ' I entered the Wellington Hospital 2Uth August; the doctors operated the day following, succeeded by two more before Christmas. " My people were informed that it was absolutely necessary to Amputate the Leg, the bone was diseased and would not heal. Dr. kindly as possible told me their decision, stating that it was the only thing to save my life, and the operation would need to take place quickly as possible. I refused. "On Good Friday I was conveyed home in the ambulance, rery weak, and could not move without assistance. The leg was so swollen the Knee was not Discernable, and hard as a board. On Easter Sunday I commenced taking PLANTEKOA. It would weary you to give details of my progress, from the bed to the fireside, then a hobble round the table, a period on crutches, from that to a walk-ing-stick, to my present condition, being able to walk anywhere without assistance." c *' PJantekoa, large bottles 5/-.
