STORM IN NEW SOUTH WALES.

[PBESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received Dec. 18, 11.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 18. During last night's storm large fireballs fell at Darlinghurst and Arncliffe. At Darlinghurst a house was badly damaged, and the inmates thrown, down, but not injured. Telephone and telegraph systems are widely deranged. A train was struck and disabled, but the passengers were not injured. Sweltering heat has prevailed for several days. The temperature has reached 95 in the city, while many country registers have been over 100, and Bourke has gone up to 110.
