GOVERNMENT AND THE NAVY.
LONDON, Dec. 18
In the House of Commons, replying to a question asked by Mr Leß, suggested by the action of Messrs Murray and Mac Donald, Mr Asquith said that the Government's view regarding the two-Power standard was unchanged. Later he would make a full statement. He deprecated the present method of question and answers.
