BRILLIANT PLAY BY WILDING. [press association.] MELBOURNE, Nov. 19. A Melbourne feature of to-day's tennis was Wilding's brilliant form. In the singles championship he overwhelmed Rice, of New South Wales, winning three sets straight, all 6-1. The New- Zealander played most of his shots from the back of the court, apparently for practice. Alexander (America) beat Frankenberg (Victoria) 6-2, 6-2, 6-3. In the doubles championship Wilding and Brookes, playing dashing tennis, defeated Dunlop and Heath, 6-4, 6-1, 6-1. .
