TIMARU. Nov. 30. Last evening the Political Labour League, whose .candidate, Mr Roller, whs'defeated in the first ballot, passed a resolution, by 39 votes to 13, expressing the opinion that the interests of th« Labour Party wo-nld be . best ;?cryj?d by the elcotion of Mr Oraigie,
the Government candidate, and urging the Labour Party to vote in his favour. A committee was appointed to act in conjunction with Mr Craigie's committee in the prosecution of the campaign. Mr Roller polled 1275 votes xn the first ballot.
