Mr Taft declares that the issue of the Presidential election is whether the trusts shall be regulated by tke Republicans or extirpated under Mr Bryan. The people, he says, must choose a method of revising the tariff, and decide whether they will maintain a home market for American products,' giving labour proper rewards, or cripple industries by reductions regardless of the difference in wages at home and abroad.
Mr Bryan declares that the great issue is. Shall the people rule?
