The Mount- Lyell returns from September 10 till October 7 inclusive show ■that 30,173 tons of ore, treated also witth 1.8 tons of purchased ore-con-verters, produced 587 tons of blister .copper, containing: Copper, 580 tons; silver, 50,522 ounces; gold, 1142 -ounces. The decreased yield of blister copper is attributed somewhat to the lower tonnage mined and the slightly Slower assay values of ore. '
