[PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Oct. 12. ,The adjourned inquest as t6 the death of Thomas Carr,' hurried ma benzine explosion on ( the Moana' i\t Port Chalmers on September 1, concluded this morning. /The chief witness was Niccil, ehpirieer, another victim of the. expldsion, who uaci sufficiently, recovered to attend, re said that the deceased proceeded to fill a lighted lamp from what looked like a kerosene-tin, when an explosion immediately occurred. Judging by the smell it was benzine that deceased used. The verdict was that death was due to burns the result of an expiosion of benzine, used by the deceased instead oi kerosene.
