Dal^ety and Company, Ltd., held their "fortnightly sale of wool, skins, hides and tallow on Friday, 11th instant, when a large catalogue ot all classes was submitted to a good attendance of buyers. :.,'-. Levin and Co., Ltd.,1 report as follows:—We held our fortnightly sale to-day, offering 20 bales wpol, 2600 skins, 835 hides, and a quantity of tallow and horsehair. Wool: The maiket remains-steady at last sale rates. We quote—Medium crossbred 4d; to ,s|d: y: inferior 2d to 4'd; lambs' wool 4<fcto sd ; pieces and- locks M to 2d; good crutchings 3£d to 3|d; medium crutchings 2fd to 3-Jd; seedy and inferior lid to 2|d. Skins: There v/as good competition. Fine t«kins advanced one halfpenny and crossbred t one farthing. Green skins advanced* threepence We quote—Fine erossbreds 5d to 6jd; crossbred 4d to sd; dead skins 2d to 3£d; dead hoggets 2d to,3id; dry pelts Id to 3d;! lambs' ,skins 3d to Ud; green skins 2s 6d to 4s 7d. Tallow : Firm. Parcels in shipping order £23; tins £18 to -£21 10s; rough fat £10 to £13. v Horsehair: Is. to Is 3d'per lb. 'Horns. 5s to 1.7s 6d per hundred. Cowtails, Is 4d to Is 8d per dozen. Hides: We broughtl forward a large catalogue of hides in good condition, which' m6t with excellent competition at full prices. We quote— Ox hides, heavy (3d to 6|-d, -medium 6Jd to s|d, light 4d to 4-|d; cow hides Id to 4*d; cut and slippy hidtes 2d to 3*d; stag hides 2M to 3d; bull hides 2d to 3d; calf best 4d to 6^d; calf, cut and slippy 2d to 3d.
