PALMERSTON N., Sept. 10. ' Arthur Henry Woods was sentenced to the maximum penalty (seven years) in the Supreme Court this morning 'for assault on a seven-year-old girl. The accused has just completed, a fiveyear sentence for a similar offence. .Mr Justice Chapman said that for the safety of the community it was, necessary to imprison him for the longest term possible.
