The society which has worked so hard to persuade women not to wear osprey i plumes in their hats is likely to be discouraged by a recent fashion (says the Daily.Express). The osprey hat looms large in some of the AVest End ' milliners' windows. Although the O^tfeen is a supporter of the.; society, her Majesty's: women subjects do not follow her in this respect. Ospreys are the most fashionable trimmings for picture, hats. The osprey hat is a terrible and overpowering confection, both ta's: far jas style and price is concerned-. <. The new fashion is one of the most, expensive," the milliner said. "A :', small osprey may cost its wearer £5, and it is easy to jndp;q how expensive a hat may be which is a mass of such plumage."
