For United Kingdom, British Possessions and other places enumerated in' schedule at Post Office, Id for each oz. or fraction thereof ; for places not named, 2id for each oz. and lid for each succeeding oz. POST CARDS. Inland, single id, reply Id ; all other places, single Id, reply 2d. NETvoFaPJGKS. Within the Dominion, id for each newspaper ; lo Australia, South Sea ! Islands, Canada, etc. each newspaper, Id ; to United Kingdom, Id by direct steamer, by other routes Id for first Boz. and id each additional 2oz. To other; countries, for ;ij *m? t 4oz-.ld> each additional 2oz. 3d. The weight ,of newspapers for transmission to Australia and British New Guinea at the Id rate is restricted to 20ozs for each copy > for each lOozs or fraction thereof additional, id. I MAGAZINES. Magazines (not registered), all places id each 2oz. Magazines (registered), within the Dominion, Id for each 16ozs or fraction thereof • Australia (except Queensland and West Australia), under 2ozs, id • 2ozs to 80as. As a means of enabling the sender of a letter addressed to a place abroad to prepay the postage on a reply, the Department issues reply coupons on payment of a fee of 3d. These coupons may be exchanged for a postage stamp of the value of 2id in any country which adopts the scheme. REGISTRATION. Universal fee of 2d to all places The sender of a registered article may obtain acknowledgment ~ of jts due receipt on payment in advance of 2id.. ■ " PARCEL POST. Maxmum weight, 111b ; greatest length, 3ft 6in ; greatest length and girth combined, 6ft. Inland, 4d for Irst lb, and 2d for each, succeeding lb or fraction thereof. United King^ dom, not. exceeding 31b, Is ; not exceeding 71b, 2s ; not exceeding 111b, 3s. Australian States, 8d for arst lb, and 6d for each succeeding lb or fraction thereof up to 111b. MONEY ORDERS. Up to £5, 3d ; above £5 to £10. 6d ; above £10 to £15, 9d ; above £15 to £20, Is ; above £20 to £25, Is 3d ; above £25 to £30, Is 6d ; above £30 to £35, Is 9d ; above £35 to £40, 2s. British Postal Orders for fixed sums from 6d up to 20s may be procured at the principal Money Order OfEess in New Zealand. BOOKS AND PRINTED PAPERS All places, id for each 2oza. PATTERNS AND SAMPLES.
