TRIANGULAR CRICKET.

FURTHER PRESS COMMENTS.

THE AUSTRALIAN VISIT.

[PEESS ASSOCIATION.! (Received July 20 ■, 8.30- a.m.)

LONDON, July 1,9.

The Observer states that the County Committee insufficiently digested the triangular proposals before sending representatives to Lords. The turn in the voting surprised everyone. Now that Marylebone has made it possible for the Counties to reconsider their decision, it would be unfortunate to miss the opportunity of righting themselves with Australia. Notts, Gloucester and the minor Counties have passed resolutions in favour of an Australian visit next year. Marylebone is awaiting a requisition from five Counties, which is necessary for the convening of- a meeting of the Club.
