The, .bill repeals Section 5 of the Law Practitioners ' Act, 1903, which re-enacts the Law Practitioners - Act Amend- • ment Act of 1898, which provides that a solicitor may be admitted without" further examination to practice1 as a barrister after he has practised^ for - five years as a solicitor or managing „ clerk of a solicitor. ' '
