Proof of the wonderful development along the line of the Main Trunk Railway is furnished (says a Wellington Press Association telegram) by the valuation of the Waimarmo County, which has just been completed. This county includes all the. land in the neighbourhood of Ohakune, Kaitihi and Karioi. In 1904 the valuation of the Waimarino County stood at £520,000 ; to-day the valuation is £1,369,000.
