AN ANARCHIST IN HIS GUARD.

The King had enough presence of mind not to foetray his suspicions, but repaired at once to the chief of his household staff, General Lopez. Lopez was ordered to place the man under surveillance until relieved, and then make a thorough investigation. Investigations showed that the sentinel is a member of the Society of the Black Cross, to which belonged Dapbsta and Buica, the men who participated in the murder of King Carlos and his eldest son. 1
