CHRISTCHURCH, June 26. The balloting for sections of the Culverden Estate began at 10 o'clock to-day. So great was the crowd that it could not be accommodated in the land office,. and the ballot was taken in the Art Gallery. There, were 783 applicants for 25 sections. xne results were as follows:— First-class land: Section . 3 (508 acres), Andrew J.
