r DUNEDIN, June 24. . Business in the oats market' has been quiet/. during the week, local merchants holding off, and lower prices have to be accepted to effect sales. Prime A grade is in .fair demand at slightly reduced' rates, but for lower grades there is little sale. Seed samples are now being inquired for, and are moving off slowly. Seed lines 2s 8d to 2s 9d; prime milling t& 2s 4d; good to best feed*2s 3d to 2s 3£d, inferior to medium 2s Id to 2s m. ■ . The wheat market; shows no improvement, and practically no business can be reported. Seed lines are moving off slowly, and good whole fowl-wheat has some inquiry at a shade below late, prices. Seed lines 4s 7d to 4s lOd; prime milling 4s 5d to 4s6d; whole fowl-wheat 4s 3d to 4s sd, medium do 4s- to 4s 2d, broken and damaged 3s 3d to 3s 9d.
