CAUSE OF THE TROUBLE.
AN ANGLO-RUSSIAN WARNING.

TEHERAN, June 24,
Prior to yesterday's developments',, the Persian Parliament presented aa ultimatum to the Shah, and relations! between them were broken off.
The Shah has now ordered martial law in Teheran.
During yesterday's fighting, bombs were thrown, killing several soldiers and officials.
The Parliament building and manyhouses in the vicinity were sacked by the soldiers.
The Indo-European telegraph station was under fire, bullets flying around. One of the native staff was wounded.
It is reported that foreign residents are in no danger.
A number of editors took refuge in the British Legation. The British and' Russian representatives requested the Shah to #ake immediate steps to restore order, stating that their \ Governments wouEI hold him responsible for any unfor-< tunate incidents occurring.
The Shah assured them that every-* thing would be done to prevent further disturbances.
