THE TRIANGULAR SCHEME.

SOUTH AFRICA'S SACRIFICE. [press association.] (Received June 12, 11.1 p.m.)* LONDON, June 12. Captain in behalf of the South African* Cricket Association, has written to' the Counties, in view of the County Committee meeting on' , July 3. He states that South Africa, tegar'ding the 'proposed triangular contest, from an Imperial point of view, has been willing to make some sacrifice. It is regrettable that the Australian Board of Control does not view the^ matter in the same light, as an experimental scheme which, on a modest calculation, will result in a profit to the countries concerned. He trusts that the Counties will not ask the South Africans to postpone their vitit until the, requirements of the Australians have been satisfied.
