Maiden Steeplechase: Good Faith 1, Cinque 2, Lady Lanta 3. Scratched: Romany King, To Kainui and Royal Shot. Bullworth led to the old water-jump, where.she fell. Good Faith came to the front, and won by two'lengths. Time, 4min Sfsec. Jervois Handicap:, Wauch'ope 1, Dogger Bank 2, Octoroon 3. Scratched: Mark Time, Lady Betty, (ilenora and Elenore. Wauchope assumed the lead at the end of half a furlong, and was never headed. Won easily by a length. Time, lmm 6 2-5 sec.

Maiden Hurdles: Pierre 1, Tui 2, Noieorini 3 Scratched: Pukenui, Pearl Necklet, Lady Regal and Hikuwai. Pierre and Tui raced to the last fence together, the former stayiny longer and winning by a bare length. Time, 3min 28sec. ' Great Northern Hurdles: Waipu 1, Sol 2, Lady Hune 3. Scratched: Maho«, Hautapu, Prospector, Defeat and Tapakapa. Omati, Paritutu and Aorangi were the leading trio three fences from home, where all fell, leaving Waipu and Sol in the lead. They fought out a great finish, Waipu eventually winning by two lengths. Time, smin ssec. • ■ Cornwall Handicap: Bobrikoff 1, Leonator 2, Celtic 3. Scratched. Moscow and- Belariq. Bobrikoff put in a claim at the distance, and won by a length. Time, 2min 20sec. Bracelet: Belario 1, Atei 2, First Gun 3. Scratched: Tui, Viking and Alfalfa: Belario was first to turn for home, and won by two lengths. Time, 2min 57 2-ssec.

Memuers' Handicap: Foremost I, Tauriki 2, Haldane 3. Scratched: Miss Winnie, Loch Buhie, TomainupOj Duart and Anaha. Foremost was in front at the'home turn, and won by a length. Time, lmin 6 2-5 sec.

The amount put through the totalisator was £10,025, as against £15,455 10s for the corresponding day last year. Thirty Tone bookmakers wsre licensed at a i'ee of £20 10s per day.
