Patten, a speculator, made halt a million sterling on a corner after a severe conflict with Armour's. Theodore H. Price, a cotton operator, has been indicted at New York xor bribing officials, conspiracy to defraud and improperly making £150,000 through early information, due to a leakage of Government statistics. Three others, including t.dwaras and Holmes, formerly assistant statisticians at Washington, are charged with conspiracy with Price.
