RUN OVER BY A TRAIN.

DUNEDIN, June 1. A young man, supposed to be Colin Morris, of Port Chalmers,- met with a: fatal accident on the railway. His dead body was found alongside the line about half a mile south of the Duriedin station. The right foot from the instep was crushed to a pulp, the top of the skull lifted off, and the right wrist broken, besides minor injuries^ In the pocket of the deceased's clothing was round a post-card addressed "Colin Morris, care Mararoa, Lyttelton," and posted at Port Chalmers. The deceased Was apparently about eighteen or twenty years of age. It is surmised that he got on the Mosgiel train instead of the Port Chalmers train, and jumped off when he noticed his mistake.
