At the annual conferring of degrees in connection with the University of New Zealand, among the speakers were the Governor, the Minister for Education and Mr Aldridge, president of the Students' Association.' !
The undergraduates subjected the speakers to considerable interruptions, and were reproved by the chancellor (Sir Robert Stout), who threatened to adjourn the meeting if they did not desist.
