PEINCE OF WALES'S BIRTHDAY. ! The Chief Postmaster notifies that' Wednesday, June 3rd, Prince of Wales's Birthday, will be observed as a close holiday by all branches of the Post Office. Mails which in the" ordinary course would close on that day will be closed at 7.15 on the evening of Tviesday, 2nd prox. A special delivery of town letters, ordinary and registered, will be made across the Post Office counter between the hours of 8 and 9 p.m. on Tuesday next. The Telegraph Office will be open for receipt and transmission of telegrams from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m., and from 7 p.m. till midnight. Telegrams should be handed in at the back entrance, upstairs.
