A PEDIGREED COW.

An American paper contains this advertisement of a cow for sale:— i "Some months ago T purchased from my friend, Hon. J. W. Irsns, a pedigreed cow. I want to sell her owing, to the rheumatism in my left leg, caused by her kicking at a fence post' and striking me. When I flrstf purchased her she was very wild,t hut I have succeeded in taming her so that I , can peep through the corral without her tearing the gate down. To a man who is a good Christian and does riot fear death, she would be a valuable animal. But I want to sell her to someone who will treat her right. She is one-forth shorthorn, two-fourths hyena and the balance just'ordinary cow. She will be sold cheap for cash."
