In accordance with " The River Board Act, 1884," and amendments thereof, NOTICE is hereby given that at an Ordinary Meeting^ to be held on MONDAY, June Ist, I*9oß, it is the intention of the above Board to make a Special Order to the following effect, viz. :-— That a General Rate in accordance with Section 37 of " The Rating Act, 1894," be levied on a graduated scale according to the classification of lands in the district for the year commencing on the first day of April, 1908, and ending ion the 31st March, 1909, of three farthings in the pound on all ratable property appearing on the Valuation Roll for the District under Class 1., and threeeighths of a penny in the pound under Class 11, and. that the said Rate shall be due and payable in one sum to the Collector of Rates at the Board's Office, Spring Creek, on Tuesday, the 16th Day of June, 1908; and that the Rate Book is open for inspection at the Board's Office, Spring Creek.
