CHRISTCHURCH, May 16. The warship Pegasus returned to Lyttelton last night, * bringing the crew, numbering twenty-two, of the four-masted French barque President Felix Faure, which was wrecked on the Antipodes on March 13. The vessel left New Caledonia on February 16 with a cargo of nickel ore for France, and ran ashore on the south side of the island. The crew landed safely, and lived on the provisions from the vessel till she broke up a month agoj then they drew on the provision depots, securing in addition albatrosses and seals. The men were in good, health when rescued.
