Replying to Senator Domville^ Mr Scott, the Canadian Secretary of State^ said that if, owing to Mr Asquith's recent declaration, the Union Jack was not to be flown on English public buildings on Empire Day, the only effect would be that it would be flown still more generally in Canada.
