SALE OF HORSES.

Messrs Griffiths and Son submitted for sale yesterday a number of racehorses on account of various owners, but few sales were effected. The following horses were passed in at the prices affixed:—Hillspring 80 gaineas, Lawn Rose 76 guineas, Czuczor 16 guineas, Sweethill 28 guineas, Jolly Roger 38 guineas. No bid was, made for Glenspring. Curator was keenly sought after, and bidding was spirited until 210 guineas was reached, at which figure his owner refused to sell. Rindstone was sold to Mr T. Septor at the 'figure of 16 guineas. ■ After the sale of racehorses Dr. Bennett's horses and traps were put up to auction. The horses brought respectively £31 and £29, and the traps and harness were quitted at a satisfactory figure.
