[PEESB ASSOCIATION.! LONDON, May 6. In ihe House of Commons, Lieut.Colonel Seely, Under-Secretary for the Colonies, in reply to a question, said that, owing to the exceptional nature of the qualifications desirable, there was some difficulty in finding a suitable candidate for the post of British member of the Joint Court of the New Hebrides; but he hoped that he-would be early selected. He added that the Court could not commence its function until the buildings were completed in^Ehe autumn. *
