AN IMPOSSIBILITY.
An old negro, not feeling well, had the doctor ■>• pay " him a visit. The doctor told him, as he was getting old, he must eat plenty of chicken, and avoid being out in damp air night air. " But, sanP' said the old. man, " how can you 'specfr me to stay in de house at night and still get chickens?".
