MR ASQUITH HECKLED

(Received May 1, 10.20, p.m.) , LONDON, May 1. Mr Lyttelton, Mr Long and others sharply heckled Mr. Asquith in the House- of Commons relative to Mr Churchill's promises at Manchester regarding the Education Bill and Home Rule. .

Mr Asquith replied that he was satisfied that Mr Churchill's statements were not inconsistent with the previous declarations of the Government.
