A prohibition order was granted agaiu'st a~ man, on the application ot the poiiee. _ John Rogerson was charged with tliat he did, on the 20th April last, piocuro liquor whilst a prohibition order was out against him. Accused pleaded guilty. His counsel said the j man had been going straight, but on | Good Friday somebody, who should ! b&ve known better, had procured for j him the drink, and he had succumbed to the temptation.—Accused was convicted and fined £5 and costs, in default 14 days' imprisonment. CHARGE OF INDECENCY. John Nicoll, charged on remand with this offence, withdrew his plea of not guilty, and pleaded guilty. Mr McNab" appeared on his behalf, and asked the Bench to consider that the \ offence was,not a \ery bad one. The accommodation in Blenheim was very wretched, there being no provision made by the Bon ugh Council for the convenience of the public.—Accused was fined 40s and costs, in default 14 days' imprisonment. . DEBT CASES. Tapp 'and Eagle v. Opouri Timber Company (M/ Conolly).—A claim, for ,£l7B 9s lid; goods supplkd. •"' . Rogers) .-^-In this case, a claim for £72 12s 3d, cash advanced, Mr Rogers asked for an adjournment. After objection, and argument, his Worship granted the adjournment for one week. J. O'Sullivan v, D. West.—A claim for £1 17s-6d for goods supplied.— Judgment by default with costs. .A. McLauchlan v. R. D.
