[PRESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received May 1, 10 a.m.) PERTH,.May 1. ; Latest reports make the number of pearling vessels wrecked thirty, but this may be reduced. v Several vessels _ returned to port in •a crippled condition, and others may ;be sheltering: \ Wreckage was met one hundred miles from the scene of the disaster. Search vessels are out. Some members of the crews of - wrecked' boats drifted out to sea on the wreckage. Many narrow escapes are reported. It'is estimated that the loss to the Broome fleet alone will be from fifteen to twenty thousand pounds. A telegram from Condon reports the wreck of the lugger Cleopatra, when three men were drowned. GasHn, one of the whites drowned at Broome, was a New Zealander.
