MAGAZINE BLOWS UP.
CADETS DROWNED
(Received May 1, 10 a.m.) TOKIO, April 30. The Matsu Shima was anchored at Makung, where her magazine exploded, and she foundered.
Only her bridge is now visible. Two cruisers rescued one hundred and forty-one of those on board, including . some of the officers; the majority, including the captain, perished. , ■ j "■.'■■. The complement of three hundred included fifty-eight cadets. It is feared tha* the victims in* elude Prince Oyama's sons.
