The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., offered yesterday :— Skins: Crossbreds 3d to 4§d per lb.; half bred 4d per lb; merino 3£d to 4£d; dead, broken and damaged, 2d to 3id; pelts 4£d to 12d each. Wool: Merino fleece s£d per Ik; bellies 4£d; black 3d; pieces Id to 2|d. Fat: 13s per cwt. Hides: Cow 3d to 34d; ox 4d.
Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., report: —We held, our usual monthly wool and skin sale yesterday, our catalogue consisting of 600 skins, 25 hides, and a quantity of fat. • We quote:— , Fine crossberds, 3|d to 4|d; halfbreds, 3*d to 4£d; lambs, 4d to s£d; dead and broken 2|d to B£d; butchers' green, 2s to 2s 4d; butchers' lambs, 2s 6d.
Hides.—Our offering realised 3|d. Rough fat, 13s; rendered, 10s to 13s 6d per cwt.
