COLLIE DOG ASSOCIATION.
ENTRIES RECEIVED
A meeting of the Collie Dog Association was held at the Grosvenor Hotel last evening. There were present:— Messrs • Neville (Chairman), Tapp, O'Brian, Kirkpatrick, W. Pound and W. Bell.

GENERAL BUSINESS
The Secretary reported that the A. and P. Association were willing to lend seats and hurdles for the forthcoming trial. Mr Tapp moved and Mr Neville seconded "That the Committee meeting on the ground, to be held in the course of a few days, have power to engage the necesary labour to carry out the trials."—Carried.
Messrs U. Allan and W. Dick donated one sheep each towards the guessing competition. . It was resolved on the motion of Mr Tapp, that Mr Fryer be employed as gate-keeper. The printing of the programmes was left in the hands of the Secretary and Mr J. Grant Smith. One hundred and fifty copies to be obtained. The Secretary reported that the sale of privileges had realised £11 10s. It was resolved that the question of the dinner be left in< the hands of Messrs Neville, Tapp and the Secretary.
