A DAY IN CHRISTCHURCH

[from our correspondent ] ™ CHRISTCHURCH, April 27. Mr W. F. Massey, Leader of the Opposition, arrived in Christchurch to-day. He spent yesterday with Mr C. AC. Hardy, M.P., at Rakaia, who took him over a large, portion of the -district in his motor car. Mr Hardy accompanied Mr Massey to the city and to-day conducted him through the Normal and other schools. Mr Massiy leaves for the North this evening. He declined interviews, but said that he would return to Christchurch soon though it was impossible to fix a date!
