Cabs at trains or steamers, Is for passenger and luggage (up, to 601b) to any part of Borough. Cabs by distance, Is per passenger for first mile, and oa additional for each extra halfmile traversed. Cabs by time, 4s per hour. From 9 p.m. till midnight, double fares. After midnight, charges only by arrangement. Luggage and parcels carried by expresses at above rates. All Cab fares Cash, unless ledger account open. The ahove charges are as regulated by Borough Council By-laws now in force. TO MERCHANTS AND FARMERS. From April Ist we have taken over Clouston's weigh-bridge. The weights have been tested and can be guaranteed. Why not see your own produce correctly weighed/ and demand payment on these independent weights. Charges will be as before, viz.:— Drays or one horse load, 4d cash; expresses and waggons, 6d cash.
